The Nature Explorer allows children in the hospital to engage with nature through the (also playable alone) game, the tasks (which you can also do at home when you're feeling better), and the carefully selected books.

With the Nature Explorer, IVN brings nature close to children in the hospital. Children can experience nature through the mobile object with the game, tasks, and carefully selected nature books. For parents, nurses, and childcare workers, the Nature Explorer is an additional tool to use in guiding and caring for children. With the dual nature of the tasks "here" and "at home," we hope to encourage children who are going home to actually go out into nature.
PROUD FACT
We are especially proud of the successful effect of the 6-layered, semi-transparent printed plexiglass panels, which allowed us to create depth in our drawings of different habitats.
