EXHIBITION 'LIVING WITH WIND FARMS'

Blijdorp Zoo

EXPERIENCE TRAIL: The Dune Campus • Dunea

Experience route with interactive objects and challenges where children, guided by teachers, explore everything about the Meijendel nature reserve with Roe, Frog, and Rabbit.

In the 📸: The welcome panel of the Dune Campus with a map, information, and a 3D tactile element of the dune area.

• Location: Meijendel dune area, Wassenaar.

Fun Fact: At the Dune Campus, we've dubbed the green woodpecker as the caretaker because you often hear it calling here. So, treat the area with respect because the caretaker is never far away!

EXHIBITION: Your Ranger's Heart • Staatsbosbeheer

Sensory exhibition where children, armed with our Forest Pass, complete tasks to collect leaves and fill their Forester's Heart.

In the 📸: Exploration boxes, Explanation panel, and area map with relief and tips.

• Location: 't Leesten, De Veluwe.
• Keywords: Observing, listening, smelling, feeling, exploring, quiz, experiencing.
• Other: Project obtained after winning the pitch.

Fun Fact: We went into the forest to search for wild boar droppings for the scent boxes 💩

ESCAPE ROOM: Mission to Mars • Delft Science Centre

Escape room full of technical marvels that challenges visitors to retrieve a stolen sample from Mars with the help of the onboard computer.

Fun Fact: There are quite a few science fiction references hidden in the experience 🛰️

EXPERIENCE TRAIL: The WhyWay • South-Holland Landscape

"The WhyWay" is an immersive experience where animals, through various interactive elements, educate children on the importance of caring for nature.

In the 📸: The scroll where, at the end of the route, all animals reiterate their "whys."

• Client: South-Holland Landscape.
• Location: Tenelleplas Visitor Center, Rockanje.
• Keywords: Conceptualisation, design, illustrations, nature education, walking trail, interactions, quiz, backpack.

Fun Fact: We also coined the name "Het Waarommetje" or "The WhyWay". 🦋🌳🦉

BIKE ROUTE: The "FietsAllee" • Municipalities of Alphen Chaam & Gilze Rijen

A bike route through the Chaamse forests of North Brabant where you relive the exciting times of goods transport under the threat of highwaymen.

In the 📸: Picnic game "Highwaymen & Merchants".

• Client: Municipalities of Alphen-Chaam and Gilze Rijen.
• Location: The Chaamse Forests, North Brabant.
• Keywords: Cycling, information boards, gamification, illustrations, branding, QR codes, history, nature experience.

Fun Fact: Not in the mood for a trading game? Simply cycling through the area, you'll encounter many little nuggets of both history and nature. Did you know, for example, that this area is perfect for Shinrin-yoku? Look it up. You'll definitely feel relaxed 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️
